Simply put, QR8 create playlists for you to use in your space. We just happen to make them via Spotify due to convenience and amount of our users/clients that use that specific platform. We can easily send the playlists as a 'document file' to be converted via free software onto any platform you wish to use, any 'tech' questions, just ask away.

As you'll no doubt be aware, you’ll need to be registered with the appropriate licensing body in your region/area if you are using music in a commercial space (e.g. via 'The Music License' from PPL/PRS in the UK), and also have checked any specific terms and conditions pertaining to said use through any platform that you choose to use.

To access our playlists in the most quick and simple way, we'd suggest a working Spotify account to receive and then follow the private playlist links we regularly send (we’d recommend a ‘pro’ account to avoid adverts and algorithm interference!).

We're always looking into new tech and working on alternatives here though, and, will keep you posted if there are any alternatives or industry developments.

Upon signing up and completing our membership form, we’ll email you a few introductory playlists to get you going for you to follow on Spotify. On the first Monday of every month we’ll send more playlist links based on the things you’ve told us about your space and requirements, and, we’ll be regularly in touch for feedback and suggestions.

The membership fee and setting up the monthly payment gets you started with us, we’ll add playlists every month, and, will do so all the time! We’d suggest you try us for a few months, but, upon setting up, you’re free to leave at any point. We’d then remove you from our Spotify account and from following our playlists, but, you could rejoin us at any time by signing up again.

Absolutely! We’d welcome them and will be in touch for feedback to see how we’re doing. You can also order and individually bespoke playlist exclusively for your business (or for a special event) for a one off fee, and, we’d then work with you on it!

You should sign up via your main/principle site, and then email us to discuss an arrangement for a business with multiple sites and Spotify accounts, which we’d sort out with you individually on a case-by case basis.

Each playlist will generally be about 5 hours in length, and, we’ll keep them active for you via private link for around a year or so before removing, changing, and updating them.

You know the atmosphere you want to create in your business, but with so many hours in the week, who better than a team of experienced DJs and music industry professionals to hand-pick music and set the mood for your venue - especially during those times when you simply don’t have the time to think about it?

Not at all, from individuals, to independents, chains, house parties, all are welcome here, though we’ll keep it exclusive for our clients, and, keep it updating regularly so you’ll never need to worry about this again.
